Los Robles Greens Golf Course

The City of Thousand Oaks has been working with Eagle Golf since August 2003 when we took over as the interim management company. Los Robles Greens Golf Course was in fair to unsatisfactory condition, which gave a sense of urgency to the transition. Eagle stepped in with professionalism and efficiency, making the turnover virtually invisible to the public.  Public courses present unique challenges to management companies- accounting, fee structures, cost controls, maintenance expectations, and most importantly customer service.  Eagle Golf has met these challenges while maintaining superior standards and operation requirements. We’ve even continued to increase rounds of play and revenues while other nearby courses experience decreasing or flat revenues.  Los Robles course conditions have improved 100 percent and are documented in the United States Golf Association’s yearly course audits. Notable accomplishments include:

• Being Ventura County’s first to purchase an accessible, SOLO single rider golf cart for disabled guests
• Hosting the Junior Golf Program’s 10 tournaments, 8 weeks of summer camps, monthly skills challenge and 9-hole events
• Working with 5,000 kids a year on life and golf skills through our year-round junior golf instructional program- the largest in the county
• Supporting 6 local high schools’ boys and girls golf teams with complimentary play
• Hosting the Thousand Oaks City Golf Championships
• Participating in the Thousand Oaks Rotary Street Fair
• Hosting a July 4th fireworks display and barbeque
• Developing a unique program with “Ladies on the Links” designed to create a comfortable atmosphere for women to learn golf- from a former LPGA tour professional no less

In 2007, Eagle Golf was chosen as the long-term operator and entered into a 20-year lease agreement. An evaluation card comment says it best. “Working with you was a dream; you made it so easy.  You could not have been more accommodating, letting us try everything and then making suggestions.  Absolutely everyone was completely professional and a delight to work with.
