Golf Course Management: What Makes the Difference

Eagle Golf is one of today’s leading golf course management experts. Based in Dallas, we now maintain over 70 golf courses, both public and private, in 13 states! We opened our doors in 1984, when our founding goal was to create a truly top-flight golf course management company. Our 27 years in the golf course management business have given us a few insider insights into the art and industry of successful – really successful – golf course management.
Know Your Audience(s)
Eagle Golf takes care of two different audiences: the golf course owner and the golfer. As a B2B enterprise, we manage golf courses for individual course owners. But their customers, and the people on whom their success (and ours) depends, are the golfers. The only way to be truly successful in golf course management is to meet the needs of the owners while catering to the players.
Don’t Discriminate
Eagle manages private clubs, municipal operations, and daily fee courses. No matter who we work for, we strive to make that targeted golfing experience the best of the best. As such, our style attracts professionals, scratch golfers, and also those who are picking up a club for the first time. We provide luxury while creating a friendly, non-intimidating setting that lets the newbie with dreams of becoming the next Phil Mickelson feel just as welcome as… well… Phil Mickelson.
Stand Out
In everything we do, we combine stellar service with one-of-a-kind sensibilities. We manage the only NFL-themed golf club in the country, Cowboys Golf Club in Grapevine, Texas. We manage clubs in beautiful local settings from Texas to Colorado. We pay attention to the setting, audience, and marketing of each course to build a singular experience that can’t be found everywhere else. We may manage over 70 clubs, but we balance streamlined organization with on-site adaptation to manage clubs with 70 distinct personalities—no cookie-cutter golfing allowed.
Connect with Audiences
Eagle uses social media to create conversations with and between our audiences of golfers and golf course owners. We use social networking and online video to let golfers know about special events, to answer questions, and to hear comments. As we like to say, it’s all about the links—both the courses and the connections.
